To our fellow serial bear market veterans, we salute you.
To those of you new to the downfall of crypto and the imminent collapse of the entire ecosystem, welcome!
Like us, we’ll assume you’re terminally online. Which means that, like us, you’ve been bombarded with posts, articles and videos about the very bearish events of the past month. Understandably, you may have some concerns regarding how it’ll impact the crypto space in the long run.
We do, too. But the fundamentals haven’t changed.
At LooksRare, we’re a passionate team of NFT people. We work day and night to bring you a taste of what we believe the Web3 future will look like: a seamless, streamlined digital universe powered by ironclad ownership, community and magic internet money.
Believe it or not, we’ve been here before. The end of the road for crypto. The gleeful publications proclaiming the death of Bitcoin. The inevitable death spiral as prices plummet and whales capitulate.
It’s happened before. It’ll happen again. Meanwhile, the players that shine when things pick up again are those that spend the downtime studying and building.
And that’s what we’re doing. We never stopped.
The team has been putting the work in behind the scenes and laying the groundwork for a lot of exciting upgrades, features and experiences that are currently in the pipeline. Some of them you may be aware of — like LooksRare V2 or LooksRare’s Aggregator smart contracts, which finished their audit last week. But, some of them, maybe even most of them, you won’t see coming.
Our diehard users may have noticed the many changes and improvements we’ve rolled out over the past few weeks. They may seem small. Or even insignificant. But the future they hold? It’s quite the opposite.
Here’s an example, with no additional context.
Here’s another, just for fun.
Other enhancements may be less functional and more strategic in direction — like the fact that we’ve added three new languages to LooksRare over the past three weeks, with a lot more to come.
Seen our team page recently? It may give you a hint of what’s to follow. Or not. This is probably nothing. 👀
To cut a long story short — congratulations on sticking around. Deep breaths. Heads down. Keep building.
We are.
